Established in 1989, Sharpline has become the leader in new technology and innovation in the hairdressing scissor industry. TECHNOLOGY & DESIGN
Precision machining technologies surpass hand work in preparation and grinding of the hairdressing scissor. Hand grinding can not achieve ultra fine tolerances that only 3D CNC Diamond machining can. All Sharpline’s Japanese made models start on the computer drawing board, with CAD CAM designs Sharpline can utilise new materials and alloys not possible to hand grind. The Sharpline manufacturing method allows sculptural and ergonomic individually custom fitted designs, the first in the world. Our factory is situated in Seki Gifu, famous for over 600 years as the centre of Japanese sword and cutlery manufacturing.

The highest quality alloys can take 9 hours to complete the hardening cycle. Our scissors emerge in perfect condition without twisting, distortion, variation or carbon migration.
